Gods Domain

Gods Domain is a realistic VR MMORPG that tries to capture the essence of reality with added fantasy elements in a virtual world. The goal is to build something that lets you escape to another world where all of your worries from your daily life can be replaced temporarily with a new life full of adventure, exploration and excitement.

Gods Domain will eventually contain many different features including:

-Cities with unique game-play abilities

-Customizable characters

-Multiple races

-Sports areas for competitive sports play

-Dungeons and raids

-Many areas for exploration

-Training areas to practice real world skills in virtual reality simulation

-Player vs Player (PvP) zones to test your combat strength against other players

Gods Domain can be run on minimum spec mid range gaming PC's using an Oculus Quest + Link cable in a large open world in Unreal Engine 4 at 72 FPS which is the maximum supported by the quests 72hz screen refresh rate. If played on a rift s the game will run at 90 FPS (I have not tested this as I do not own a rift). The high frame rate helps to reduce "VR sickness" for most people .

Lowering graphics quality in VR games is a normal thing to do to improve performance to keep frame rate high but there are ways to avoid doing this with enough work and dedication.I will try my best to keep the game looking as nice as possible while still maintaining smooth performance on minimum VR spec machines.
